March Favourites!!

Hello, hello!!

Welcome back to A Mascara Moment!!

March was a lovely month!  We all recovered from this awful flu, my husband passed his written commercial pilot test and we saw some sunshine for the first time in month and months!!

Today we are going to talk about the items I was loving all March!!  If you are interested to know what I have been loving, read on...

March Favourites

Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC / LV Key Pouch / Bark Thins
ABH Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit / MAC Brush / Bath and Body Works Mahogany Teakwood

Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC*
  • I have found myself reaching for this bag a lot in March.  I was wishing for spring and this beautiful pink colour was helping me feel more into the season.  Also, with more outdoor play, this bag is perfect for the park and quick trips out with the kiddo.  It is compact and flat which means it takes up no room and doesn't get in the way when I am carrying my son!

LV Key Pouch
  • When using the Mini MAC, I have to extremely downsize my wallet.  The little LV Key Pouch is always perfect for that and got a lot of play this month!

Bark Thins
  • Delicious!  Just delicious!  I got this giant bag at Costco.  It is dark chocolate bark with pumpkin seeds.  The perfect little after dinner snack to cut the sweet tooth.  I have a bit or two after dinner with my Earl Grey tea.

ABH Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit
  • I have a whole review on this palette and I think I said love about a million times in the review.  I have used this every day as highlight, blush and eyeshadow.  So beautiful!

MAC 129 Powder/Blush Brush*
  • I reach for this brush all the time.  I can use it for powder, blush and highlight.  I even took it with me, in my purse, when I went for my passport photos (which make me look mean, fat and crazy as they do).  A great size!!

Bath and Body Works Mahogany Teakwood
  • My husband picked out this candle in the fall and it got popped in the linen cupboard and we forgot about it.  I found it while we were doing a clean out and lighted it.  The smell is like a true musk.  The whole house smells so good.  It is a "masculine" scent so my husband has nothing to complain about!

Buttermilk Brownies

Buttermilk Brownie

I made these four times in March.  They did not last the day!  A family and friend favourite!  For the recipe click here!

Outside was the highlight of my son's life in March!

The weather perked up a little bit and the snow melted off the deck, so this was where we played.  Everyday after his nap, he brings me his boots and hat and we head outside!  The snow Is finally melted off the grass, so we can expand our play area now!

I read three books this month!  Three books!  I was so excited about this!

I am going to have a book review post soon, but I can say that I really enjoyed them all.

The Silent Wife*

13 Reasons Why*

Behind Closed Doors*

That was a sprinkle of items/things that I really enjoyed in March.  I am looking forward to better weather and more fun outside in April!!
