January Favourites!!

Hello, hello!!

Welcome back to A Mascara Moment.

Today we are interrupting our usual What I Wore Wednesday in favour of January Favourties!!

January was notable for starting my weight loss plan, starting potty training my 2 year old (Lord give me strength!) starting my job hunt and having my husband home for almost the entire month :)

Favourites

LV Pochette Metis/Chanel Lipstick 168/Stud Earrings/Leopard Scarf
  • One Line A Day: 5 Year Journal - I have really gotten back into writing in this.  I am in year 4 and committed to filling it out everyday.
  • MAC Eyeshadow - These are my 4 go to MAC colours.  They are Wedge, Vanilla, Soft Brown, Phloof!  I am going to do a look with these soon!
  • Hourglass Blush - This blush in Radian Magenta is my favourite blush of all time and perfect with every look.
  • LV Victorine - My first compact wallet from LV.  I love this little guy.  Besides being so cute, it is so functional and holds the amount of a full sized wallet.  Review to come!
  • LV Agenda PM - I love this little cutie.  I use it for grocery lists, to do items and random thoughts.  I almost always have this with me!
  • Covergirl Clump Crusher - You know how I feel about this mascara - true love.
  • Too Faced Better Then Sex Mascara - I have been trying this out all month and so far I like it.  Review to come.
  • LV Pochette Metis - I forced myself to change out of this bag for February.  This is the best bag.  If you only get one LV bag, get the Pochette Metis.  Gorgeous.  Review to Come.
  • Chanel Lipstick #168 - The perfect nude neutral.
  • Stud Earrings - I love these edgy studs.  This look was popular a few years ago and I love them still.  I can't remember where I got them, but if I find it I will link it.
  • Leopard Scarf - I love a leopard scarf and this particular one was perfect to wear for my interview this month.

Close Up

I love these over sized studs.  They remind me of Valentino Rock Stud shoes!

Books and Television

I have been reading Lonesome Dove.  It is a beautifully written, epic, classic story.  I highly recommend it if you are looking for a Literary Classic.

My TV Obsession this month has been season 4 of the Bates Motel.  This show engrosses me.  I watched the entire season in two days!
