Wardrobe Wednesday - Interview Outfit

Hello, hello!!

Welcome back to A Mascara Moment.

I have been off work for the last two years doing the SAHM thing.  It has been an amazing two years and I am so lucky that I was able to do this.

Lately, I have been thinking about going back to work.  I cannot go back to my old job, it was in a remote environment and I would not be able to take my son with me.

So, that means, job hunting.  The always dreaded job hunting.

The first step to job hunting, is having your interview outfit.  You want it to be something that you feel powerful and confident in and that suits the level of jobs you are looking for.

I am looking for a casual office environment, so the outfit I have put together is perfect for that.

If I was going to up my game to a professional office type job, I would need to add a blazer and heels.

My Interview Outfit

Pants/Blouse/Similar Shoes (nicer)/Watch/Chanel GST/Similar Earrings/Similar Letter Necklace

I apologize for not using my own picture, but the lighting in my house was not letting me take an acceptable picture.  I have everything in the collage except for the Movado Bela watch (which I hope to be getting soon).  I currently use a Walmart brand silver watch.  All of my nicer watches are gold or rose gold and I like to wear silver for interviews.

Blouse:  Lush "Perfect" Roll Sleeve Tunic in Midnight Blue
Pants: Old Navy Pixie Ankle Pants in Black
Shoes: Aldo Cap Toe Flats - Old and Not Available
Bag: Chanel GST with SHW
Earrings: Akoya Pearls
Necklace: Silver Letter Necklace
Watch: Movado Bela (fingers crossed)

This outfit makes me feel confident, smart and prepared for whatever crazy interview questions I might be asked.  I walk in confident and hopefully I will leave with a job!

What items make you feel confident and powerful?

If you are on the job hunt like me, best of luck!  I hope you find your dream job!

As always, take care and I will talk to you tomorrow!
