Table Talk Tuesday - Spicy Tomato Corn Chowder

Welcome back to A Mascara Moment!

It is Table Talk Tuesday and today I am going to share with you one of our favourite meals - Spicy Tomato Corn Chowder.  I make this once a month, fall through spring, and on cold summer days.  My family loves this soup and it is so easy to make.  There is nothing better then a slow cooker soup!

I always have the ingredients for this soup in the pantry and can throw it all together on a moments notice.  You just need 4 hours cook time and voila!  If you don't have the items for garnish, skip them.  The soup is delicious on its own.



  • 3 cans of Spicy Tomatos
  • 1 can of Cheese Soup
  • 3 cups of frozen corn
  • 500g of cubed, uncooked chicken


  • Sour Cream
  • Chopped green onion
  • Tostitos (your favourite flavour)  I use Chipotle Thins.

How To

Add the tomatos, cheese soup, corn and chicken to a slow cooker.  Give it a good stir.

Cook on high for 3.5 - 4 hours.  Make sure the chicken is fully cooked.

Scoop into bowls and garnish with a dollop of sour cream, some green onions and Tostitos.
