Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario - Swatch, Review and Compare

Hello, hello

Welcome back to my corner of the internet!

I have a very exciting swatch/review today, so lets get to it!!

I wanted to get this swatch/review in asap because it is currently in stock on Sephora (Canada anyway) and the VIB sale is coming up so you can get it at a discount.

Let's go...

Master Palette by Mario from ABH

This is the newest palette by ABH.  It is a collaboration with  makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic.  He is famous for being the man behind Kim Kardashian's make up looks.

Palette Overview

Palette Brush

Gorgeous and Moody

Top Row

Bottom Row

Eye Shadow

The shadows are creamy and pigmented.  They offer a bit of kick back when you dip the brush in but that is normal for a dense shadow.

All of the colours translate well onto the skin and have a never ending staying power.  I wore these all day/night with no signs of fading.

This palette is a great mix for creating everyday looks as well as more dramatic looks.

These apply easily and opaque.  You only need one brush dip to create your look.

They blend out easily and perfectly.  No powdery, streaky or fall out mess.

The only con would be that this is not what I would consider a complete palette.  I need a lighter all over lid colour to make this an all in one for me.  That said, this is not a real issue as I have a million other shadows that I can use.  I just reach for MAC Phloof! or Vanilla to complete this palette.

Buy this.  Don't even think about it.  If you can find it, purchase it right away!

You won't regret it!

Are you going to purchase this gorgeous palette?  Let me know!

Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Swatches and Review

Hello, hello!!

Welcome back to my blog!

Today we are going to have a look at 3 pieces from the gorgeous collab Victoria Beckham has with Estee Lauder.

This collection went lighting fast and I didn't pick up anything during the initial launch.

Luckily, The Bay in Canada had most of the collection during the worldwide launch.

I picked up three pieces.  I would have liked to buy everything, but it was quite pricey.

Here we go...

Bitter Clove, Brazilian Nude, Victoria

Eye Metal in 01 Bitter Clove

A gorgeous metallic bronzy taupe shade.  This swatches sheer and builds up very nicely.  It looks stunning on the eye and gives a wet look.  The shadow is buttery soft, applies smoothly and blends out easily.  A wonderful eyeshadow.

Lipstick in 01 Brazilian Nude

The perfect warm toned brown nude.  The lipstick is creamy and smooth.  It applies opaque and sits comfortably on the lips without drying or moving around.

Lip Pencil in Victoria

A darker brown version of the above lipstick.  This is the creamiest lip liner I have ever used.  It applies perfectly without bleeding or drying.  You could wear it on its own without a gloss and it would be just perfect.

As you can tell from my fan girl like review, I love everything about this collection.

I hope this was a dry run to see the popularity of a VB line!

If these three products are any indication, the rest of the collection must be just as amazing!

If you can track this down, I would say go for it!!

Did you pick anything up form this gorgeous collab?

Take care,

Louis Vuitton Reveal - Trans Atlantic Collection

Hello, Hello!!

Welcome back to my blog!

Today I am going to do a quick luxury review.

Louis Vuitton comes out with a new Christmas Animation every year.  They generally choose a print from their advertising archives and update it for the LV items.

Depending on the release, they do the print in a selection of SLG's.

I purchased two items from this release and it was not easy!  I don't have a store near me and I am never organized enough to call and get put on the waitlist, so I basically stalked the website until they showed in stock.

Without further ado, let's reveal...

There they are!

The LV Mini Pochette in Damier Azur and Monogram.

I ended up with two from this release.

Here is why...  I liked both the Azur and the Monogram, but preferred the Azur.

Well, the Azur was out of stock and the Monogram popped up and I just ordered it.  Then the next day, while I was busy stalking the item, it popped up and I bought it on reflex.

LV has a great return policy, so I figured I could just return the monogram after I received them.

Then I received them and love them both.

I know I am going to keep the Azur, but I just can't decide if I want to sell the Monogram.

I really don't need them both, but I have hoarding issues.

Did you get anything from the Christmas Animation 2016?  Or from the new Stickers line, also so cute?

Take care,

Go To Fall Nail Look Featuring MAC, ESSIE and ZOYA

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

Welcome back to my blog.

Today I am going to show you my go to fall nail look.

Let's jump in...

The How To

Zoya Maria Luisa, MAC Fatigues, Essie Protein Base Coat

  • I always start with Essie's Protein Base Coat.  I swear by it.  It keeps my nails strong and I think it reduces the yellow staining.

  • The main coat is either a Camo Green or a Dusty Green.

  • I finish the look off with a gold flake top coat.

There you have it!  My go to fall nail look.

I like to keep it simple and long wearing.

What colours are you rocking this fall?

Take Care,
